A relay is a magnetic switch, but instead of being pressed like a normal button, it can be activated with a small electrical current. In technical terms it is an electromagnetic switch.
For example your stock horn wires extended to the relay (pin 85 and 86) would activate the relay every time you press the horn button.
Why would I want to use a relay?
Using a relay allows you to wire and operate a new thicker circuit straight from the battery for your new horns. Meaning your dual horns no longer depend on thin stock wires.
The best part? It all works with your original horn button, without overloading any of the original horn circuit.
PRO TIP: If you keep your stock horn connected, it would activate the stock horn and the Dual Track™. You will get triple-tones and even more loudness!

Yes, the relay kit is designed for easy installation and includes a user manual. While basic wire-crimping tools and some wiring knowledge can be helpful, they are not required.
You’ll just need to access the wires behind your stock horn, and your motorcycle’s battery terminals. From there, it’s as simple as following a few steps in the manual!
